Dear guests, dear friends of the theatre, ladies and gentlemen,
We are incredibly happy to welcome you back after a lengthy hiatus. We have missed you very much and are overjoyed to be hosting wonderful circus adventures once again.
The health of our guests as well as our staff is very important to us, which is why we have drawn up a few rules for our reunion to ensure that everyone’s visit is as safe and relaxed as possible. The rules of admission and conduct listed here in brief are part of our comprehensive hygiene policy, which in turn takes into account the applicable requirements of the SARS-CoV-2 Hygiene Protection Ordinance of the Berlin Senate, the hygiene framework for cultural institutions in Berlin and the occupational health and safety standards of the VBG.
Please read and respect the following information and support the continued safe operation of the theatre:
As a general rule:
Listen to your body
We ask you to stay at home if you have flu-like symptoms or severe pre-existing illnesses and to refrain from visiting our theatre. We will be happy to welcome you back at another time.
We ask that you wear your medical mouth/nose protection from the moment you enter the stairwell and at all times moving through the theatre. Children up to the age of 6 are exempt from that rule. As soon as you have taken your reserved seat at your table, you may remove the medical mouth/nose protection.
Please keep a minimum distance of 1.50 m from our staff and other guests and remember to wear your medical mouth/nose protection when leaving the table.
Please disinfect your hands when entering the theatre and between times. Ample disinfectant dispensers are placed at many stations and the sanitary areas in our theatre.
Please adhere to the established cough and sneeze etiquette in the crook of your arm.
In order to comply with the necessary requirements for potential tracing and the related collection of contact details, we register the contact details of every ticket purchasing person. If any registered persons or contact details change on your booking, please notify us before entering the theatre. We ask that you register via a QR code in the Luca App or a contact form once you arrived at your table.
Suitable measures were taken in the theater auditorium to maintain a distance of 1.50 m between unfamiliar households. We follow the requirements and recommendations of the Senate Department for Culture and Europe.
A directional system has been devised for visitors to avoid crossing paths as far as possible. They are guided into the theatre through two entrances and out of the theatre through a separate exit. The routes always lead in one direction.
Admission begins 60 minutes before the start of the show. To ensure orderly and safe admission to the theatre, please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the performance to be admitted. For the admission check, we ask you to bring your proof of vaccination (EU) or a negative test (PCR, antigen rapid test no older than 24 hours) or proof of recovery (preferably in the Luca App, Corona-Warn App or Bärcode App). Test centers near us can be found here. In addition, we ask that you bring an ID card and your valid personalised admissions ticket either in digital or printed form. Children up to the age of 6 are excluded from the regulation of vaccination, test or recovery. For Berlin students from the age of 7, the requirements of the State of Berlin apply. After the admission check, you will be asked to proceed directly to the theatre on the first floor. AWe ask that you register via a QR code in the Luca App or a contact form once you arrived at your table. The admission check is carried out contactless by employees of the Chamäleon Theater.
In order to avoid contacts, we do not provide a cloakroom service. However, should you wish to leave large bags or jackets, our staff will be happy to assist you.
Our theatre is equipped with a modern mechanical ventilation system, which permanently introduces fresh air into the theatre. The air volume is completely replaced by fresh air six times an hour. This enables us to meet the hygiene requirements of the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe as well as the occupational health and safety standards of the VBG.
Due to the current situation, catering is only possible to a limited extent. Our service staff are available for you to order drinks and snacks before the show. There is no table service during the show. Food service in the theatre will not be offered until further notice. The bar area is closed to visitors during the entire event. Drinks are only sold at the table.
Our team is looking forward to welcoming you and is excellently prepared
Our staff is regularly trained and is familiar with the additional current hygiene requirements. All staff wear a medical mouth/nose protection during working hours, all staff are tested every evening regardless of their vaccination status and follow our regular high hygiene requirements in the gastronomy area.
All areas are intensively cleaned and disinfected at regular intervals. Please refer to our posted disinfection certificates.
The performance usually takes place without an intermission and is approximately 60-70 minutes long. You will find detailed information on the duration of our shows on our homepage under Programme. Until further notice, there will be no interaction with the audience.
We are happy for you to use our cashless payment options.
The exit is carried out in compliance with the distance rules. You are required to keep a distance of 1.5 m from each other and to put on the medical mouth and nose protection when leaving your seat. The exit takes place on the direct and shortest route to the exit.
As hygiene requirements are always evolving, please check our website for our current hygiene framework shortly before your visit. For further information, please contact us by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
We sincerely thank you for your support and your visit and wish us all a wonderful event and happy meetings.
