Leo is a one-man physical theatre piece based on an idea by the circus performer Tobias Wegner and staged by the renowned Canadian actor and director Daniel Brière. The piece was created in 2011 in collaboration with Chamäleon Theater and previewed there before its official premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2011.
Since then, Leo has toured internationally with several line-ups and, as a masterly representative of the genre-spanning staging of New Circus, has set new standards. Numerous international awards speak for the enormous success of this production.
