Rollercoaster is a show about the desire for freedom, joy, and security.

Surrounded by huge inflatable blue structures and accompanied by electro beats composed of distorted rollercoaster sounds, Wes Peden performs original tricks inspired by rollercoasters and their high-tech seatbelts. Rollercoasters are the inspiration for both the juggling material that will be made for the show as well as the choreographic ideas and theatrical framings that will be used. Juggling tricks and rollercoaster design both use gravity and momentum – and Wes Peden brings their intricate pathways to the stage through masterful juggling choreographies.

With Rollercoaster Gandini Juggling continues a successful model of collaboration which was started with ZEBRA. Formed in 1992 by world-renowned jugglers Sean Gandini and Kati Ylä-Hokkala, Gandini Juggling continues to be at the vanguard of contemporary circus, reinventing and reinvigorating juggling for the 21. century.

Wes Peden
Inspired by sumo wrestling, fast food packaging and the playgrounds of the 1950s, Wes designs shows for space stations and parking lots. He has played in over 25 countries including Japan, Israel, Australia and Iceland. His energetic, complex and playful juggling style has been awarded by the International Juggling Association and the Festival Cirque de Demain. Wes graduated from Dans och Cirkushögskolan with a degree in juggling.
