Dear guests, dear friends of the CHAMÄLEON, ladies and gentlemen,

We are incredibly happy to welcome you back after a long break. We have missed you very much and are overjoyed to once again host wonderful circus adventures.

The health of our guests as well as our employees is very important to us, so we have set up a few rules for our reunion to ensure that your time with us is as safe and relaxed as possible for everyone. The entry and behavioural rules listed here in brief are part of our comprehensive hygiene concept, which in turn reflects the applicable requirements of the SARS-CoV-2 Hygiene Protection Ordinance of the Berlin Senate, the Hygiene Framework Concept for Berlin Cultural Institutions as well as the occupational safety standards of the VBG.

Please read and respect the following information and thus support a safe theatre environment:

Listen to your body
In the case of flu-like symptoms or serious pre-existing illnesses, we ask you to stay at home and refrain from visiting our theatre. We would be happy to welcome you back at another time.

Stay healthy
We ask you to wear a face mask from the moment you enter the stairway and wherever you walk indoors. Once you have taken your reserved seat at your table, you may remove the mask. Please keep a minimum distance of 1.5 m from our staff and other guests, if possible, and remember to wear your mask when leaving the table.
Please disinfect your hands when entering the theatre and in between times. Sufficient disinfectant dispensers have been placed in neuralgic places and the sanitary areas in our theatre. You can find them, for example, in the foyer and in the entrance area.
Please follow the prescribed etiquette by coughing and sneezing into the crook of your arm.

Our seating
The specified minimum distances of 1.5 m between the respective booking parties have been observed for all seating and for placement of guests. Groups of up to six people who book together and live in the same household are seated together - our seating plan allows for a maximum of four people per table.

Ventilation
Our theatre has a modern ventilation system that continuously supplies the auditorium with fresh air. We therefore meet the hygiene requirements of the Berlin Senate Administration for Culture and Europe as well as the occupational safety standards of the VBG.

Entry and exit
Admission starts 45 minutes before the show begins. The ticket check takes place in the foyer, without contact. Only a maximum of four people are allowed into our foyer at any given time. Exiting after the show takes place systematically row by row, starting at the bar and moving towards the stage in order to avoid traffic jams. Please follow the instructions of our staff, or stay at your table and enjoy another drink.

Coat check
In order to avoid contacts, we do not offer our coat check service. If you still want to check in large bags or jackets, our staff will be happy to help you.

Food Service
We offer a selection of beverages and snacks during admission before the show starts. Service during the show will be suspended until further notice. Our theatre bar is currently also not available for direct consumption or a drink at the bar after the show. The service is exclusively available at the tables.
Our team looks forward to welcoming you and is well prepared
Our staff is regularly trained and is familiar with the current additional hygiene requirements. All employees wear a mask during their entire shift and follow our usual high hygienic standards in the food service area.

Cleaning
All areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at regular intervals. Please refer to our posted disinfection certificates.

Show
The show usually takes place without a break and has a length of about 60-70 minutes. Interaction with the audience will be avoided until further notice.

Payment
We would be pleased if you use our cashless payment options.

Contact details
In order to meet the required requirements for a possible tracing and the associated recording of contact data, we log the contact data of each person. Should registered persons or contact details within your group/booking change, we kindly ask you to inform us before you enter the theatre.

Since hygiene requirements are constantly evolving, we ask you to inform yourself about our current hygiene framework on our homepage shortly before your visit. For further information please contact us by e-mail: tickets@chamaeleonberlin.com

We sincerely thank you for your support and your visit and wish us all a pleasant event and joyful encounters.
