On February 22, we start the new season with “Showdown”!

“Showdown” – previously known under the working title “Common Ground” – is the first co-production between the British company Upswing and the Chamäleon. The artistic team and acrobats are currently in the final stages of development before the piece celebrates its world premiere on the Chamäleon stage.

Here, Vicki Dela Amedume, artistic director and founder of the Upswing company, explains what motivated her to found her own company. She also talks about her creative processes and how the idea for “Showdown” came about.
