Circus and Trust

For the project in_between, artists from all over the world came together to work on the piece as an ensemble with director Maxim Komaro and the Finnish company Circo Aereo. Most of the artists didn’t know each other beforehand, but in circus one quickly gets acquainted, because after half an hour people are already throwing each other through the air and spotting one another.

For acrobats to be able to safely and courageously create new things together, it takes a lot of training, time, and above all – trust. Aerialist Alyssa Bunce tells us what trust in circus means to her.
