Bienvenue, Machine de Cirque!
A warm welcome to the Chamäleon, Machine de Cirque! We officially kicked off our first season with the Canadian company on September 3 with a festive premiere night.
“The version, expanded specifically for their debut at the Chamäleon, confronts life’s hardships with such poetic imagery that it leaves a lasting impression,” commented the Berliner Morgenpost.
A huge thank you to the wonderful artists and the entire Machine de Cirque team, as well as to all the amazing people on and off stage who made this season possible.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Canadian Ambassador to Germany, Vera Alexander, and the Delegate General of Québec in Germany, Geneviève Rolland, for their visit and the warm words of welcome with which they opened the premiere night. The season of Kintsugi at the Chamäleon is funded by the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Community and would not have been possible without the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, the Canada Council for the Arts and The Québec Government Offices in Berlin.
Kintsugi will now be running at our theater through January 17, 2027.
