Kintsugi

Coming from a background in gymnastics and a graduate of the National Circus School of Montreal (2012), Maude has collaborated with several renowned companies, including Cirque Éloize, The 7 Fingers, Cirque du Soleil, and Machine de Cirque. Originally trained in Chinese pole, she has also built strong expertise in teeterboard and pole acrobatics, the latter having become a key discipline in her artistic journey. Recognized for her authenticity, versatility, and precision, Maude brings both her performance artistry and her organizational skills to various aspects of the circus world. She has been part of several original productions, including Kintsugi, in which she revisits her character with a renewed sensitivity inspired by her recent experience of motherhood.

A versatile performer, Emilia Dawiec is a Polish professional circus artist and dancer whose work bridges strength, grace, and playful imagination. She graduated from the École Supérieure des Arts du Cirque (ÉSAC) in Brussels in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Circus and Performing Arts, after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Pedagogy from the Academy of Humanistic and Economic Studies in Łódź, Poland, in 2022. Specializing in aerial hoop and hair suspension, Emilia creates a distinctive blend of technical precision, musicality, and whimsical characters. Her performances combine refined physical artistry with expressive storytelling, inviting audiences into her unique world of movement and emotion. Emilia has performed internationally with renowned companies and productions, including Cirque du Soleil (‘Twas the Night Before…, 2025, West Palm Beach & New York City), Back Pocket (Brussels, Belgium), Urbanatix (Essen, Germany), Le Monastère (Montréal, Canada), Lassu (Perth, Australia – Fringe Festival), and Wintergarten (Berlin, Germany).

Todd “Ted” Degnan is an American porter born and raised in New York, with a very atypical path to circus. After completing a business degree at Bryant University, he spent three years living, working, and traveling in Ethiopia and across East Africa. Upon returning to the United States, driven by his love of challenges, learning, adventure, and community, he discovered his passion for circus and began his professional career. Since then, Todd has performed with both American and international companies at shows and festivals around the world. A multidisciplinary artist specializing in partner and group acrobatics, he thrives on collaboration, constantly pushing creative boundaries while bringing energy, playfulness, and generosity to the stage. Todd has previously collaborated with Machine de Cirque on the productions Kintsugi and Changes, and is thrilled to continue this artistic journey with the company.

Clémence discovered the circus at a young age in a small school on the outskirts of Paris, where a weekly class soon became a defining ritual. As she attended more performances, a clear vision emerged: the circus could become her profession. She went on to study in the circus-focused program at the Châtellerault high school before training at the École de cirque de Québec and then at the École Nationale de Cirque in Montreal, where she specialized in hand-to-hand acrobatics. Driven by curiosity, Clémence constantly seeks to expand her artistic language. Theater, dance, clowning, and new circus disciplines all feed her desire to explore, transform, and play. Above all, she thrives on stage, where discovery and expression meet.

A versatile acrobat, Damien Descloux trained at three internationally renowned circus schools: the National Circus School of Châtellerault in France, the FLIC Scuola di Circo di Torino in Italia, and the Quebec Circus School in Canada. Through this training, he developed a solid mastery of numerous disciplines, including handstands, hand-to-hand acrobatics, teeterboard, ground acrobatics, balance ball, and aerial cradle. Today, he distinguishes himself through his ability to perform with ease and creativity in these diverse disciplines, affirming his identity as a complete artist.

Tinka is a circus artist specializing in duo trapeze and Icarian games. A graduate of DOCH (SKH) in Stockholm, she has developed a physical language that combines precision, trust, and deep listening through collaborative contemporary creations. Her work explores risk, connection, and weight-sharing in a thoughtful and deeply engaged approach to movement. As the porter in an all-female duo, her practice also quietly challenges the traditional roles historically assigned to women in physically demanding circus disciplines. Driven by a strong desire to learn and continuously evolve as an artist, Tinka enjoys creating encounters between different disciplines, developing work that is vibrant, embodied, and poetic.

Formerly an acrobatic gymnast and a graduate from the École de Cirque de Québec (ECQ) in 2020, Francis has developed over the years a passion for throwing people around and catching them. It’s this same passion for hand-to-hand and group acrobatics, that he’s had since he was a teenager, that has led him to work in many countries for companies such as Flip Fabrique, Les Productions Haut-Vol and Machine de Cirque, with his partner Marie France. Although he is mainly a hand-to-hand porter, he has a lot of experience in banquine, floor acrobatics and club passing. He also loves singing and dancing, you can ask people around him: he always has a song stuck in his mind and a couple of dance moves up his sleeve, ready to show off!

Originally from Quebec, Marie-France discovered acrobatics at a young age—a playground that quickly became her language. After a formative experience in competitive cheerleading, she naturally gravitated toward the circus arts and continued her training at the École de cirque de Québec, graduating in 2020 in hand-to-hand acrobatics alongside her partner Francis-Olivier. A curious and dedicated artist, she stands out for her versatility: hand-to-hand, banquine, teeterboard, juggling—disciplines she approaches with both precision and generosity. She has performed in Canada, the United States, and Switzerland with companies such as Flip Fabrique, Cirque Starlight, and Les Productions Haut-Vol. Driven by a deep love of collective work, Marie-France thrives in connection, shared momentum, and in her unique way of making acrobatics resonate through others.

Naomie Vogt Roby is an international circus artist who comes from a circus family. From a young age, she travelled throughout France alongside performers and big tops. She played the lead role in the feature film Le Parc by Damien Manivel, which was presented at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016.
She trained at the Châtellerault Circus School and later at the École de Cirque de Québec, specializing in Chinese pole and Cyr wheel. She graduated in 2020 at the age of 21. Naomie began her professional career with Cirque Éloize, then completed a six-month European tour with the collective Cirque Entre Nous. She later joined Machine de Cirque for the creation of a new show and several other projects. She regularly returns to visit her family at Cirque Octave Singulier, where her journey first began.
