HIER SOWIE DORT (past)
With HIER SOWIE DORT (engl. here as well as there), company Raum 305 present the final chapter of their trilogy exploring the eternal search for connection.
A puppeteer and a trapeze artist – physically apart, yet internally connected – explore in this wordless performance the tension between control, freedom, and longing. Puppet and object theatre meet aerial acrobatics and dance: what unfolds is a cosmos suspended between gravity and weightlessness, mechanics and emotion. The result is an atmosphere that feels both dreamlike and intimate, absurd yet strangely familiar.
Seemingly driven by a will of their own, the puppets reflect the estrangement of the human protagonists in each other’s world. But it is the humans who are ultimately released from their strings – at first searching for support, and finally, unbound, dancing into the sunset.
As the conclusion to a trilogy about connection and separation, HIER SOWIE DORT brings the thematic journey to a powerful close: a poetic reminder that opposites only find their true meaning in relation to one another. With physical intensity, dreamy precision, and a subtle sense of humor, Raum 305 crafts a moving ode to the shared act of failing and beginning anew – a final chord that resonates long after the curtain falls.

About the Company
Founded 2018 by director Philipp Boë, puppeteer JARNOTH and trapeze artist Moritz Haase, the company Raum 305 aims to develop an interdisciplinary, innovative stage language. The fusion of aerial acrobatics, puppetry, physical theater and dance provides the basis for their works, which move their audiences with a high degree of authenticity and virtuosity. They presented their works WIR WOLLEN NIE NIE NIE (We Never Never Never Want To) and ODER DOCH? (Or Do We?) during the last two editions of Play and will soon return to the Chamäleon to complete their trilogy with HIER SOWIE DORT.
