For many people with sensory impairments, this isn’t a thought experiment – it’s the reality of everyday life.

We want to change that and make culture accessible to everyone.

With your donation, you make the following possible:

• Live audio descriptions that bring every scene to life for people who are blind or visually impaired
• Tactile tours that allow props and set designs to be felt before the show
• Sign language translations that directly engages deaf guests in the action
• Induction loops that provide a direct sound experience for hard-of-hearing visitors

This turns a theater visit into a shared experience for everyone.

Inclusion is a matter close to our hearts. To ensure that contemporary circus becomes an experience that reaches everyone, we need technology, experts, and interpreters. To implement these services sustainably and professionally, we rely on your help.

• €25 help to purchase materials for tactile models, making the performing arts more accessible
• €50 help to provide technical equipment for audio description or hearing loops.
• €85 cover one full hour of sign language interpretation fees.
• €100 cover the costs of developing the artistic concept for a tactile tour.

Your donation is tax-deductible as a special contribution in Germany. Donations of up to 300 euros are recognised as a donation by the tax office without a donation receipt. Your bank statement, a deposit slip and a “basic donation receipt” for your tax return are sufficient proof. You can find the “basic donation receipt” here. For donations of 300 euros or more, you will automatically receive a donation receipt from us in the course of the following month.
